CD replication is the standard industry process for making large quantities of CDs and generally the lowest cost solution for orders of 500 or more units. In CD replication, also known as CD pressing or CD manufacturing, discs are injection molded, metalized and stamped with digital file information. CD disc artwork is applied using either offset or silkscreen printing. CD inserts and packaging are printed using high-end digital presses or offset printing.
